April 1, 2015 — The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has renewed the status of the American College of Radiology’s (ACR) National Radiology Data Registry (NRDR) as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry. With the renewal, radiology professionals can continue to use the NRDR to meet quality reporting requirements under the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS).

Eligible professionals can take part in NRDR to:

  • Meet PQRS requirements based on satisfactory QCDR participation
  • Submit data for 24 non-PQRS measures (in addition to 14 PQRS measures)
  • Have the opportunity to meet MOC practice quality improvement requirements
  • Gain relevant performance feedback to help enhance patient care and maximize Value Modifier performance

Facilities not yet participating in NRDR can register at www.nrdr.acr.org.
