More than 300 ViZion + Wireless DR panels sold within first four months of availability

Viztek, a leading provider of complete digital software and hardware diagnostic imaging solutions, has announced today record sales and continued demand for its ViZion + Wireless DR panel. Viztek has sold more than 300 ViZion + Wireless DR panels since the product became commercially available in early November, less than four months ago.

The rapid pace of sales and continued strong demand, said Viztek President, Joe Cermin, means the company is uniquely meeting the market need for quality, ease-of-use, and affordability for DR imaging systems.

"The demand for the Viztek ViZion + Wireless DR panel affirms the company position as a leader in DR imaging, bringing solutions to market that address the needs of healthcare facilities to best care for their patients," Cermin said. "The pace of sales has exceeded our own forecasts, and based on feedback we expect to see this continued demand for the foreseeable future."

Customers who have purchased the 14 x 7 wireless flat panel detector DR device say the image quality and user friendly software, coupled with the ease and speed of installation, make the ViZion + detector system the perfect choice for their practice.

"Simply put, and the Viztek ViZion + Wireless DR panel meets all our needs. It not only gives us top quality images but the flexibility of the system enables us to readily image challenging or less mobile patients," said Tom Yang, M.D., partner and co-owner, Fastercare, based in Richardson, Texas. "The durability of the device also gives us added peace of mind in our investment."

The ViZion + Wireless DR panel complements and further expands Viztek's extensive line-up of imaging systems. It can be used in new imaging environments as well as retrofitted to existing rooms allowing customers an immediate improvement to workflow and productivity. Unlike most wireless panels, the Viztek ViZion + Wireless DR panel is equipped with a built-in router to enable wireless connectivity, eliminating the need for outside routers to allow Wi-Fi accessibility.
