Collaboration will facilitate accurate project planning, reduce change order costs and simplify the equipment ordering process

January 16, 2015 — Siemens Healthcare has announced its participation in the equipment planning catalog of Attainia Inc. All of Siemens’ imaging modalities are now included in Attainia’s catalog, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography, molecular imaging, radiography and ultrasound. With access to this detailed information – which includes price listing, system descriptions, optional configurations, supporting documents, group purchasing order (GPO) contracts and direct connections to Siemens – healthcare organizations can make more informed purchases of Siemens’ diagnostic imaging systems.

Michael Wendt, Ph.D., senior vice president, Imaging & Therapy Systems Division, Siemens Healthcare North America comments: “By collaborating with Attainia, Siemens can offer new and existing customers vital information to optimally plan imaging departments during the early stages of hospital construction and renovation.”
