November 19, 2014 — Mobisante has produced a software-only ultrasound platform for physicians and medical professionals. This platform improves the affordability of ultrasound imaging by allowing providers to leverage their existing investments in computing platforms. Physicians can download the MobiUS PE software application directly onto any qualified Windows-based device and scan using USB probes provided by Mobisante.

Mobisante is also launching its new cloud-based image management service powered by UltraLinq. This service allows clinicians to securely store, review, edit and share ultrasound images acquired with a MobiUS PE or MobiUS TC2 system.

Mobisante’s release of this software platform brings medical ultrasound imaging within reach of a broad range of providers who could not afford the more traditional expensive and complicated ultrasound systems. By providing an integrated image management solution with the device, it reduces the expense and complexity of acquiring a dedicated PACS to store ultrasound images.
