June to October tour brings Centricity Imaging Technologies to hospitals and medical centers across the U.S. and Canada

June 11, 2013 — Between June and October, 2013, healthcare providers at hospitals and medical centers across the United States and Canada can experience GE Healthcare’s entire line of Centricity* Imaging technologies when the Centricity Imaging IT Tour visits locations in over 30 major markets.

“GE Healthcare is about connecting productivity with care on every level,” says David Hale, vice president and GM, GE Healthcare IT, United States and Canada. “This tour is one example of that. We are bringing our imaging technologies to the healthcare providers who need to view and assess them, saving them the time and expense of traveling to a trade show to do their research.”

The tour provides access to GE Healthcare’s full line of imaging IT solutions including Centricity PACS or PACS-IW with Universal Viewer, Centricity RIS- IC, Centricity Imaging Analytics, Centricity Cardio Enterprise, Centricity Clinical Archive, Centricity Radiology Mobile Access, AW Advanced Applications and Dose Monitoring.

Healthcare providers’ recognition of the value of GE Healthcare’s imaging IT solutions to their practices was reaffirmed in May when GE Healthcare was named the 2013 North American Radiology Informatics Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivan. The award announcement stated that “GE Healthcare has remained the undisputed leader in the U.S. radiology informatics market for over a decade, both in terms of market revenue and installed base.”
