Hitachi MRI scanners earn highest rating for all six categories in MD Buyline’s First Quarter 2013 User Satisfaction Report


May 15, 2013 — For the third consecutive year hospital users have rated Hitachi Medical Systems No. 1 magnetic resonance (MR) vendor according to the Q1 2013 MD Buyline User Satisfaction Ratings Report. Hitachi MRI scanners also achieved the highest score in each of the six individual MD Buyline categories in the Q1 2013 report.

The MD Buyline User Satisfaction report includes user ratings in the following categories: system performance, system reliability, installation/implementation, applications training, service response time and service repair quality. According to this report, users commented that their loyalty to Hitachi is based on past experience with products, system performance, reliability, sales and service. Users also commented that Hitachi MRI systems have many workflow features that offer decreased scan times and good patient comfort. One user specifically mentioned the Echelon Oval, Hitachi’s newest high field, 74-centimeter oval bore 1.5T MR system and reported the system to be more efficient with workflow and productivity.
