Introducing M-Power user interface upgrade, pediatric scan apparatus, patient transport gurney

RSNA Toshiba Vantage Titan MR Pediatric Flex Suite Patient Transport Gurney

December 5, 2012 — To make magnetic resonance imaging (MR) more user and patient friendly, Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. unveiled enhancements to its Vantage Titan MR product line at this year’s Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting in Chicago, Nov. 25 – 30, 2012.

Toshiba introduced several enhancements to improve workflow, pediatric imaging and patient comfort, including:

M-Power Enhancements: User-friendly interface that simplifies both acquisition and post-processing now streamlines many time-consuming steps of routine clinical scans.

Pediatric Flex Suite (works-in-progress): Positions Toshiba’s 16 channel Flex SPEEDER coils for optimal use in pediatric head, neck and spine imaging.

Patient Transport Gurney (works-in-progress): Increases throughput by helping to enable safer patient transfers into the MR scan room.
