Fujifilm's AcSelerate 2

Fujifilm’s flagship DR room replacement suite, AcSelerate 2, features advanced applications capabilities that make a positive difference in efficiency and the quality of patient care. Two new applications include Dual Energy Subtraction (DES) and Tomosynthesis (Tomo). DES acquires two images at different energy levels to produce three intelligent views: traditional, bone only, and soft tissue. This is particularly useful in chest exams, providing clinicians the enhanced ability to diagnose from a routine chest exam and potentially rule out the need for other exams. Tomo is where one continuous exposure is made as the X-ray tube moves from one end of the table to the other capturing up to 60 images in one fluid sweep. This can be a particularly useful application when prescreening patients to rule out the need for traditional CT exams. Combining these new applications with the FDX Console’s refined image processing, including our latest Dynamic Visualization (DV),  produces incomparable Fujifilm image quality.
