November 2, 2012 — ClearCanvas Inc. announced the commercial release of ClearCanvas radiology information systems/picture archive and communications systems (RIS/PACS) Team Edition, an end-to-end radiology workflow management solution.
The system is U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared and CE marked and provides fully integrated radiology workflow and data management solution.
The RIS/PACS is built on the popular ClearCanvas software platform, currently in use by over 25,000 users and partners. The easy to use workflow solution has been designed to enable a practice to efficiently serve patients from the time they walk in the door to the time they receive their results.
The Team Edition includes key features such as drag and drop scheduling, customizable work lists, roaming user profiles, hanging protocols and digital report dictation. With web-based image viewing and the Referring Physician's Portal, it has also been designed for efficient and easy access to both patient images and associated reports.
