August 11, 2011 – Fujifilm Medical Systems announced the public availability of their online continuing education Virtual Library, a comprehensive resource geared to diagnostic imaging professionals. The Virtual Library offers affordable online presentations and tutorials followed by testing to visitors seeking continuing education (CE) credits. Diagnostic imaging professionals seeking CEs in medical imaging and informatics can access this online tool that is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
The curricula available on the Virtual Library features courses that are approved for American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) continuing education units (CEUs). Future enhancements to the Virtual library will include the addition of courses approved for sonographers as well as cardiovascular technologists.
Access to Fujifilm’s Virtual Library is available by purchasing an individual cours, or companies can take advantage of the group purchase of an annual subscription to receive cost-effective group access to the content. Visitors to the site can preview the content before they purchase, and topics are focused on digital X-ray, women’s health, and Fujifilm’s Synapse PACS products. Sample courses include:
