The FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA Inc. end-to-end system for digital mammography, includes its full-field digital mammography (FFDM) system Fuji Computed Radiography for Mammography (FCRm) and multimodality Synapse PACS.

FCRm provides superior image quality and presents mammography providers with various equipment configurations to ideally suit their needs, according to the manufacturer. Facilities can select from a centrally located multiplate reader serving several rooms, or a single-plate reader installed right in each exam room.

This system flexibility, combined with validated image quality and ease of use for technologists, has made FCRm particularly ideal for large screening facilities, according to the manufacturer.

FUJIFILM’s Synapse PACS has always provided multimodality mammography capabilities, and now with version 3.2, FUJIFILM has further optimized the presentation of images for diagnostic screening by enhancing the visualization tools and extending the range of image processing tools integrating CAD into both the technologist and radiologist workflow.
