The FDA cleared Siemens’ new ARTISTE Solution, a linear accelerator engineered for Adaptive Radiation Therapy (ART). The ARTISTLE is an integrated imaging and workflow solution designed to provide high-quality image-guided and advanced treatment delivery protocols.

This solution offers clinicians multiple imaging modalities. From Megavoltage (MV) to in-room CT imaging, clinicians can select the imaging application for their treatment approach. According to Siemens, the Mvision Cone Beam Imaging Package delivers soft-tissue resolution, critical to challenging cases such as imaging prostheses and with large patients.

The ARTISTE’s design incorporates the 550 TxT Treatment Table designed to provide mechanical strength to accommodate a patient weight capacity of up to 550lbs. The system also utilizes Syngo Suite for Onoclogy, a software program designed to provide scalable workspaces enabling the clinical team member access to data, patient information and images.
