Princeton Softech has announced that the American College of Radiology (ACR) has selected Princeton Softech Optim to support data retention objectives in compliance with FDA requirements. Optim also offers benefits for managing continued data growth and reducing storage costs throughout the information lifecycle.
“Databases can become overrun with large amounts of data that is kept for compliance purposes, yet organizations must ensure that they can comply with data retention regulations to avoid the risk of penalties and fines,” affirms Brian Babineau, analyst at Enterprise Strategy Group. “Having an archiving strategy can allow companies to maintain a manageable database size and still have easy access to historical transactions needed for audit and compliance requests.”
