New Imaging System Combines RF and DR on One Console

September 28, 2010 — A new digital imaging system combine both radiographic fluoroscopy (RF) and digital radiography (DR) on one console.

InfiMed’s new iCynergy digital imaging system combines RF and DR through the use of either a flat-panel detector or charge-coupled device (CCD) camera for image acquisition and viewing capability from a single console. Consolidating RF and DR functionality onto one imaging console allows facilities to reduce equipment and operating costs associated with preventative maintenance and service, as well as certification and licensing.
