August 16, 2010 – Pacsgear, a provider of imaging connectivity for electronic health records, announced on August 13 the acquisition of all assets of NAI Tech Products of Auburn, Calif. NAI Tech Products is a medical device company specializing in the high-quality digital video capture of medical images. This acquisition will enable Pacsgear to offer a complete line of video capture products that complement the company’s PACS/EHR connectivity platform.

Pacsgear provides image connectivity solutions for medical image management (PACS) and electronic health record (EHR) systems to hospitals and healthcare facilities. Its software integrates documents, film, video, visible light and other images from any department to any PACS/EHR. Healthcare personnel in specialties such as radiology, cardiology, gastroenterology, dermatology, orthopedics and pathology can connect, view and share images and results to enable health information exchange.
