June 9, 2010 - At the company's annual shareholder meeting today, Toshiba Medical Systems Corp. (TMSC), a member of the Toshiba group of companies, announced Satoshi Tsunakawa will be appointed president and CEO of the company.
Tsunakawa, most recently senior vice president, TMSC, succeeds Kenichi Komatsu, Ph.D., who will become an adviser to the Board of TMSC and an adviser to Toshiba Corp.
TMSC is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging systems and comprehensive medical solutions, such as computed tomography, X-ray and vascular, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, magnetic resonance imaging systems as well as information systems for medical institutions.
