CoActiv Medical introduces EXAM-PACS support for Windows 7 as well as the Mac OS and iPhone at the RSNA 2009

CoActiv Medical, the enterprise image and data management specialist, debuts at RSNA 2009 a full range of enhancements to its comprehensive medical imaging product suite that make it the choice for universal multi-department, multi-modality, multi-platform and multi-format image management. Whether it’s CT images from the radiology department on an integrated PACS/RIS or a DR exam from orthopedics on an iPhone for a physician making rounds, now CoActiv’s advanced product family does it all and more. It is one of the most comprehensive image viewing, management and archiving solutions on the market today.

At RSNA 2009, CoActiv Medical introduces EXAM-PACS support for Windows 7 as well as the Mac OS and iPhone through bi-directional integration with the OsiriX viewer.

Complementing this, the company also debuted the new CoActiv family of EXAM-RIS products that integrate with EXAM-PACS as well as other PACS products to create seamless solutions. Offerings include EXAM-RIS Essentials, which is a quality and affordable RIS designed for single sites and available for radiology, orthopedic and chiropractic use. It is engineered to work with CoActiv’s EXAM-PACS Essentials, a turnkey PACS that enables growing medical practices to transition easily and affordably to complete digital imaging workflow.

Also new is EXAM-RIS Enterprise, a complete Web-based multi-site enterprise RIS that supports medium-sized facilities and easily scales up for use by a large university hospital. The third new offering is CoActiv EXAM-TELRIS which manages teleradiology practices reading for multiple sites with such tools as location-independent worklists, automated exam routing, extensive reporting and detailed permissions.
