November 24, 2009 – New imaging client-server technology is designed to create efficiency and ease of use from any location. With an unlimited number of installed clients, there can be 3/10/20 concurrent users, depending on server hardware configuration and system load.
The new solution, syngo.via, provides integration and thus information sharing with universal access from RIS/PACS and any location. The new platform performs automated case preparation, structured case navigation and disease orientation.
Clinical applications include Multi-Modality 2D/3D Reading; syngo.CT Neuro DSA; syngo.CT CaScoring; syngo.CT Colonography; syngo.CT Segmentation; syngo.Lung CAD; syngo.CT Colonography – PEV; syngo.MR Neuro Perfusion; and syngo.MR Onco (MR Onco Multi-Region).
syngo.via operates on HP standard hardware with 1-5 TB storage capacity. Client hardware is off-the shelf PC. The manufacturer recommends a bandwidth of 100 Mbps. It supports multiple image types, including: CT, MR, PET, US, DR, DX, processed DSA scenes, and SC.
