T2 RADAR reduces motion artifact in free-breathing patient.

November 4, 2009 - Hitachi will demonstrate continued focus on patient-friendly high field MRI at this year's RSNA meeting, emphasizing 16 channel Echelon 1.5T and Oasis Bore-less high field imagers' capabilities and value.

Bore-Less Oasis offers scanning capabilities of horizontal field imagers, plus unique clinical and patient comfort advantages. Oasis expands providers' geriatric, pediatric, bariatric, sports medicine, breast and critical care capabilities. Oasis' new 660lbs table weight limit, 82-cm movable table width, and 190-cm Extra-Large Body coil simplify bariatric imaging in particular.

The new Origin 2.0 software suite features enhancements to Hitachi's RADAR and RAPID technologies, for faster breast and abdominal dynamic imaging, and the ability to deliver complete motion compensated neuro and body studies.

Origin 2.1, planned for 2010 release, will deliver enhancements to cardiac and abdominal imaging. New option packages, including µTE (micro-TE) orthopedic imaging, VASC non-contrast MRA capabilities, and Arterio-venous imaging for T2* weighted Neuro applications will be offered with Origin 2.1.
