Fujifilm and partner Empiric Systems LLC will be demonstrating the integrated PACS/RIS, featuring Fujifilm’s Synapse PACS with Empiric’s Encompass.NET RIS.
This integration has now been widely adopted in both the hospital and imaging center markets as it further drives efficiencies in the radiology department working as one solution. New features such as integrated critical results reporting, peer review, and quality improvement functionality will be demonstrated.
Fujifilm’s Synapse PACS offers an integrated, Web-based radiology, cardiovascular and mammography solution. In addition it’s also a complete enterprise archive for all imaging types.
At RSNA, Fujifilm will be demonstrating these features, along with new integrated 3D capabilities and new communication and collaboration tools designed for the radiologist and referring physician. Additionally, Fujifilm's Managed Services platform will be highlighted. It continues to successfully provide radiology groups with the ability to achieve a common interpretation platform, with Fujifilm providing the infrastructure, integration and IT support required for success. Finally, Synapse will be hosted in a totally virtualized environment which provides a lower total cost of ownership and an eco-friendly system footprint.
