July 15, 2008 - Kubtec will introduce at the AHRA 2008 in Denver a touchscreen-based specimen radiography system called XPERT 40, a specimen radiography system with up to an 8-by-8-inch digital detector and with up to a 1 mA xray source.
The 19-inch medical grade touchscreen monitor is currently used for other medical imaging applications and will enhance the XPERT 40�s ease of use in the OR and in the biopsy suite. Some of the other firsts the XPERT 40 possesses are the ability to send annotations to PACS and the ability to send multiple images to PACS with a single click.
The XPERT 40 also comes equipped with features such as AEC, auto calibration, automatic window leveling and remote applications designed to support its HIPAA and DICOM compliant software.
