June 18, 2008 – Numa introduced the NumaStore Software Only at SNM 2008, allowing customers to provide their own hardware configurations for the NumaStore Management software application.
Imaging department and IT professionals are now able to integrate this version of Numa’s image storage and management application on to their existing radiology department or enterprise server systems.
Instead of duplicating the computer system hardware, this solution reportedly allows users to implement the features of NumaStore and share computer and professional resources with the rest of the enterprise.
Also introduced at the show, is the NumaRead, offering new options for customers wishing to migrate patient image files from outdated MOD’s to online storage systems.
NumaRead system is sent to the customer’s location, letting the customer use migrate the MOD-stored images. The rental system can be configured to store images on the local computer system or forwarded to another workstation.
