Numa Introduces Two New Solutions at SNM 2008

June 16, 2008 – Numa rolled out two new solutions dedicated to offering users cost-effective opportunities to access its connectivity and image management technology.

NumaRead allows access to the thousands of patient images that are archived on outdated or obsolete optical disk (MOD) tape or CD media and move them to DVD, USB hard disk, NumaStore, PACS or another workstation. The solution can be purchased or rented.

Numa now allows customers to provide their own hardware configurations for the NumaStore Image Management and Archive software application. The system features Windows compatible hardware/software requirements, features optimized for NM/PET/CT, and shares hardware and IT resources with the hospital/enterprise. The solution also has automated backup – forwarding and remote query retrieve from NM workstations.
