May 8, 2008 – MEDRAD introduced the Prostate MR Education Program, a new education program to help clinicians perform prostate MR with its eCoil MR Endorectal Coil at the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) 2008 annual meeting.

The program is available for healthcare professionals who image with GE scanners, provides access to experienced researchers with thousands of Prostate MR imaging procedures to their credit.

Through MEDRAD, clinicians will have up to six hours of email, telephone, video conference and/or instant message access to John Kurhanewicz, Ph.D., professor of radiology, urology and pharmaceutical chemistry, director of the Prostate Cancer Imaging Research Program and the Biomedical NMR Lab at the University of California, San Francisco and to Dr. Nicolas Bloch, radiology clinician researcher at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, instructor in radiology at Harvard Medical School. These prostate MR researchers have a combined experience of over 22 years in the field and have performed more than 7,000 prostate MR imaging procedures between them.

The Prostate MR Education Program may be contracted through MEDRAD Representatives.
