March 24, 2008 - Toshiba America Medical Systems installed its 500th Vantage 1.5T MR system at Jefferson Regional Medical Center (JRMC) in Pine Bluff, AR, looking to use the system for orthopedic, head and abdomen imaging.
Winning Best in KLAS in 2007 and 2006, the Vantage 1.5T MRI system reportedly delivers one of the highest magnet homogeneities available on the market within a full 50 cm diameter spherical volume. Its Pianissimo technology is designed to reduce acoustic noise by up to 90 percent, and its parallel processing technology for increased image acquisition speed is engineered to reduce exam times.
