March 4, 2008 - Harris Corp. unveiled a new family of high-tech tools at HIMSS to provide clinicians with real-time access to a variety of medical and patient information in operating room environments.
The Harris systems are the same high-definition systems used by broadcast networks for monitoring multiple video sources. Using multiviewer technology, the systems also allow medical personnel to conference with other specialists.
The Harris family of multiviewers includes the Predator II series, which is designed for multi-image display in facilities that require a compact, scalable monitoring architecture. The Predator HD Series is designed for displaying sources in HD, when a small footprint is crucial. The FusionPro series is designed for mission-critical environments where flexible configuration of multiple input sources is required for centralized monitoring. The modular, scalable NEO SuiteView allows users to create a customized, system-wide monitoring solution tailored to their operation. The CENTRIO combines superior graphics, industry-proven architecture and integrated test and measurement tools to enable simplified system designs.
