January 22, 2008 – The Philips iSite PACS was named “KLAS Top 20” in the 2007 Year-End Top 20 Report, scoring 87.43 out of 100 in overall performance, rating number one in three out of five categories: “Technology Easy to Implement/Support,” “Recommend to a Peer,” and “Buy Again.”
Philips iSite PACS is an image and information management system that delivers on-demand diagnostic-quality images over existing hospital networks, advanced radiology reading stations for radiologists and “always online” long-term storage.
The independent report summarizes performance data collected over the past 13 months from healthcare professionals and IT executives. It draws from data on over 750 products from more than 200 vendors and is a ranking of the top 20 Healthcare Informatics vendors overall, as well as a ranking of the top vendors in key areas of performance. Scores were averaged in all 3 market categories, Acute Care (over 200 bed facilities), Community (under 200 bed facilities) and the Ambulatory Care sectors.
