January 10, 2008 - InSite One Inc. completed a system validation and integration testing project in collaboration with Siemens Medical Solutions confirming that syngo Imaging, a Siemens picture archiving and communication system (PACS), has interoperability with InDex services ranging from online DICOM archiving to only redundant offsite copies of the Long-Term Storage with disaster recovery.

Testing was completed in preparation for final installation at the University Medical Center in Arizona (UMC) that is an existing InSite One client and plans to implement radiology information system (RIS) and PACS solutions from Siemens. At UMC, two separate PACS will share a common InDex OnLine archive and a common RIS.

InDex delivers a suite of Web-enabled managed patented services that conform to Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) protocols and CIFS interfaces to meet a full range of HIPAA enabling healthcare data storage demands. These solutions include onsite capacity as well as offsite data protection and disaster recovery scalable to individual client needs or enterprise requirements. This full spectrum of managed services includes data migration, ongoing IT support, hardware and software upgrades that keep pace with a site’s evolving needs and transfers long-term archiving cost to operating budgets.
