November 27, 2007 - Emageon Inc. announced today that it has been awarded a multi-year contract with Novation LLC, the contracting services company of VHA Inc., the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) and Provista, to supply cardiovascular PACS products and services, allowing Emageon to supply its HeartSuite VERICIS Cardiovascular Image and Information Management solution.
The agreement will last over two years, spanning Feb. 1, 2008 to Apr. 30, 2010, and includes two optional one-year extension periods. Under the terms of the agreement, Emageon will supply a comprehensive portfolio of its enterprise-wide HeartSuite VERICIS software & hardware solutions. Emageon will also supply the Project Management, IS/IT and Systems Interfacing, Installation and a comprehensive package of Solution Maintenance Programs including Remote & Local Service Support, as well as Clinical, Administrative & Engineering Training Programs.
