November 14, 2007 - American Medical Sales Inc. will display two new PACS products at RSNA 2007, including its hardware/software solution created for small practices, Image Vault, that features a diagnostic workstation software, an image gateway, an automated image back-up system and a PACS archive.
The system is housed in an all-in-one computer and the user interface is simplified via Image Vault’s touch screen, while security is addressed in a fingerprint security key and automated logoff.
Image Vault is offered at under $8,000 and can be pulled out of its shipping box and plugged into a modality. Image back-up is provided by a removable USB hard drive and CD’s of images for patients or referring physicians may also be burned.
