The Del Medical DRV is a general radiographic system for hospitals, imaging centers and orthopaedic groups that incorporates automatic collimation and can be configured for film/screen radiography and CR or upgraded to DR incorporating either the Trixell DR panel, or the Canon DR panels.

It reportedly offers efficiency, patient comfort and flexible configuration choices in radiographic systems. The Del Medical DRV also features easy to position ceiling tubemount, a robust elevating 4-way float top table, a vertical wall stand and choice of high frequency generators, according to the company.

The Apollo DRF, also to be showcased at RSNA, matches the flexibility of a remote controlled table with the image quality and speed of the new generation of Dynamic Flat Panel detector with Fluoro capability.

The new Dynamic Flat Panel detector combines high spatial resolution and fine details for general radiographic and skeletal exams, with the capability of acquiring dynamic sequences and fluoroscopy up to 30 frames per second for GI procedures or organ localization. The full active size (43-by-43-centimeter, 17-by-17inch) reportedly makes it easy to perform any kind of exam and provides a substantially larger field of view when compared to a 16-inch image intensifier. The remote R/F system incorporates the Trixell dynamic DR panel as an alternative to the conventional image intensifier tubes. In addition, the system will also be capable of 180-centimeter (72-inch) SID for performing chest imaging on the table. FDA submission will be by year-end 2007 with expected availability in North America in 2008.
