September 17, 2007 - Royal Philips Electronics announced today that customers have again rated its Medical Systems division number one in overall service performance for Ultrasound All Systems, comprising Radiology/OB-Gyn and Cardiology instruments, in the annual IMV ServiceTrak surveys.

The results of the 2007 IMV analysis also show Philips earning a number one ranking in overall manufacturer satisfaction and shares the number one ranking for probability of repurchase for ultrasound. In an independent survey by IMV Limited, customers were asked to rate ultrasound systems manufacturers on a broad range of factors across the product ownership lifecycle.

For the Ultrasound All Systems report, Philips received top marks in 20 factors, including those of service engineer performance, satisfaction with service and manufacturer, help desk telephone support and remote dial-in diagnostic support.

Philips also scored 12 top ratings in the separate 2007 Ultrasound Radiology / OB GYN ServiceTrak report published by IMV, outperforming competitors with the most No. 1 ratings in the industry and an overall service performance rating well above the nearest competitor.
