June 13, 2007 – Aurora Imaging Technology Inc. announced the formal launch of the Aurora Breast MRI Reimbursement Hotline, a service offering third-party payor coverage and reimbursement overviews, new account billing assistance, local specific billing insights, and answers to questions on breast imaging reimbursement issues, aiming to facilitate accurate billing to Medicare and private payors for breast MRI procedures.

“For many practices today, barriers to payment are sometimes a result of a lack of accurate billing tools,” said Olivia Ho Cheng, president and chief executive officer, Aurora. “When practices do not have access to appropriate coding and coverage guidelines, they don't have the correct tools to report procedures, resulting in potential reimbursement issues. As a company dedicated exclusively to breast MRI, our goal is to continually find ways to support our customers. We are proud to offer the Aurora Breast MRI Reimbursement Hotline to make it easier for our customers to focus on what’s most important – supporting their patients in the fight against breast cancer.”
