Toshiba’s VANTAGE MR 1.5 Ranked First in KLAS

KLAS Enterprises LLC., a research and analyzing firm that monitors the performance of health information technology, announced that Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc.’s Vantage 1.5T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system ranked first in a multichannel MRI performance, scoring 92 out of 100 against major vendors.
Participants in the KLAS survey were clinics, imaging centers and hospitals, ranging in size from one to 1,000 beds, who scored Vantage on performance and Toshiba on enterprise commitment to technology and proactive service. The Vantage 1.5T MRI system reportedly delivers one of the highest magnet homogeneities available on the market within a full 50 cm diameter spherical volume. Its Pianissimo technology is designed to reduce acoustic noise by up to 90 percent, and its parallel processing technology for increased image acquisition speed is engineered to reduce exam times.
