Patients Complete Medical History Via the Internet

SourceMedical has entered a partnership with Medical Web Technologies (MWT) to offer One Medical Passport to its Vision, AdvantX and SurgiSource customers. The SourcePlus Medical Passport will allow facilities using SourceMedical applications the ability to have their patients complete their own registration and preoperative medical history securely via the Internet. The information is then immediately available to the nurses, anesthesiologists, registration staff and the patient’s surgeon.

The One Medical Passport system reportedly uses the highest degree of Internet security. All patient information is only released to the medical team and medical facility designated by the patient.
