At SIIM 2008, Anthro Corp. will showcase the eNook Pro for EMR, the wall-mounted, lockable workstation for LCD’s and laptops.
The eNook Pro is designed to be a secure wall-mounted workspace, and may be used as a point of care, hallway station, a notebook desk or a walk-up computer workstation. The desk shelf may be flipped up to close and locked using a programmable numeric combination lock.
eNook Pro is available in two models: one for LCD mounts and one for laptops. The LCD mount model has a VESA mount rail for the LCD and an integrated keyboard and mouse tray on the main shelf, according to the company. The larger model size is 36 inches wide and 26 inches tall, and has a bottom compartment with a separate door to store power strips and cords. The smaller size is 8 inches narrower and 6 inches shorter and has a channel to place the power strips and cords. The metal back panel is designed to be adjustable so the overall depth of the unit can be 7.25 inches to 8.25 inches deep.
Anthro will also feature Zido, a compact technology cart, designed to be customized for use with a PC, medical equipment or for lab applications, Zido features 4 inch casters. The grey Zido shelves have a weight capacity of 50 pounds, and the entire cart has a 150-pound weight limit.
Anthro’s Carl’s Table, Model CT08, a radiology furniture set, will also be on display.
The CT08 is an ergonomic desk with motorized height movement and increased leg speed for quick adjustment from 28.5 inches to 48.5 inches, said Anthro. The tilt adjustment allows for sitting or standing work positions, while the tilting surface supports the forearm and shoulders, said the company. CT08 also was made with a height memory presets for individual users.
