Also featured, the MSK Extreme MRI is a high field, high resolution, low cost, dedicated extremity MRI system suitable for both hospital and imaging center applications to decompress whole body backlogs. The MSK Extreme with v-SPEC, provides high quality imaging of the hand, wrist, elbow, foot, ankle and knee.

The system's high performance, low operating costs, light-weight and small footprint are unique among MRI products, according to the manufacturer. Customers have placed ONI MRI systems alongside other whole body MRI units in hospitals and imaging centers to reduce patient backlog, and as the main system in orthopedic offices that need fast, high quality, patient friendly MRIs. Both systems require about 200 sq. ft. and can be placed in a medical office environment. Breakeven is about 2 patients/day. More than 140 systems are installed in the USA, Canada and Europe, according to the company.
