The Plasmon UDO Archive Appliance Express (AA Express) is an archiving solution designed in collaboration with leading medical integrators specifically for medical facilities, offering secure and cost-effecting storage solutions.

The AA Express includes a blue laser technology that permanently stores vital patient data on Ultra Density Optical (UDO) media designed to meet HIPAA regulations for longevity and authenticity. The AA Express is reportedly the only true long-term archiving product on the market with a media built to be virtually immune to temperature change, water, humidity and powerful magnetic fields.

AAE Express is designed with a RAID cache to provide real-time access to patients’ charts and images. UDO’s Phase Change, hardware-based Write-Once-Read-Many (WORM) technology is reportedly the industry standard for retention and means that patient data cannot be altered or unintentionally destroyed. Patient records will always be available when needed, ensuring true, compliant authenticity. UDO media is removable, providing a very effective and low cost disaster recovery solution for clinics.
