Documentum Archive Services for Imaging is a packaged offering that joins EMC Captiva InputAccel document capture software with EMC Documentum technology and is designed for customers who manage large volumes of paper documents. It takes existing paper files and makes them electronic to free-up physical storage space; enables rapid and secure electronic access to stored information within the enterprise; and makes enterprise-wide search and discovery easier to eliminate unmanaged archives and minimize document loss.
According to the manufacturer, Documentum Archive Services for Imaging is the first to provide enterprise-class document image archiving based on a unified archiving platform.
