Ziehm Vision FD Earns Best New Product of the Year at Stevie Awards

October 26, 2017 — Ziehm Vision FD has been recognized with the Silver Stevie Award as "Best new product of the year" in the "Health & Pharmaceuticals" category at the 2017 Stevie Awards ceremony on Oct. 21 in Barcelona, Spain. The jury highlighted the improved clinical outcome and the cost-efficiency of Ziehm Vision FD that has set new standards in intraoperative imaging.

Ziehm Imaging presented the first version of Ziehm Vision FD 10 years ago, marking the introduction of the first fully digital mobile C-arm with flat-panel technology. In 2017, the latest generation of Ziehm Vision FD featuring a new CMOS flat-panel detector was launched. It offers higher image resolution than conventional flat-panel detectors at the same dose.

Thanks to CMOS, Ziehm Vision FD allows for excellent image quality and is ideally suited for lengthy interventions with its liquid cooling system. In addition, finely tuned workflows and new software features help optimize patient outcomes and increase productivity further.
