X-Ray System Offers 8-by-8-inch DR Detector

May 1, 2008 – Kubtec introduced its XPERT 40 digital specimen radiography system, a compact, self-contained, shielded cabinet X-ray system available with up to an 8-by-8-inch (20-by-20 cm) digital radiography detector for inspection of surgically excised needle core biopsies and tissue specimens.

Providing a 1.0 mA X-ray source, the system reportedly gives the highest signal to noise ratio, reportedly leading to high image quality or low chances of missing micro-calcifications. Also included is real-time, remote system consultation with trained applications specialists, and applications support and training as well as diagnostic checks and upgrades are available remotely by factory-trained personnel.
