The Vigilance II monitor has the ability to present complex hemodynamic data in a simplified way to paint a clearer picture of the patient’s hemodynamic status. Continuous CO, SvO2, EDV, SVR and other measured and derived parameters are presented on customized displays selected by the clinician. Onscreen, customized trend, data relationship and stat displays provide a complete picture of blood flow and tissue oxygenation for precision patient management.
The Vigileo monitor measures continuous cardiac output when used with the FloTrac sensor. Stroke volume and stroke volume variation are also measured and displayed on the monitor. Continuous SVR is calculated and displayed when interfaced with the patient's bedside monitor. The Vigileo monitor and FloTrac sensor require no calibration for monitoring of flow parameters.
The Vigileo monitor can also measure venous oximetry (ScvO2 — central venous oxygen saturation and SvO2 — mixed venous oxygen saturation) when used with appropriate Edwards Lifesciences oximetry catheters.
