Flat-panel PaxScan 3024M can capture images close to the chest wall with results in seconds

September 29, 2015 — The direct capture PaxScan 3024M flat panel detector from Varian Medical Systems is designed for full-field digital mammography (FFDM) and has a compact design incorporating a narrow edge and rapid image-acquisition capabilities. These features enable radiologists to acquire images close to the chest wall with results in seconds. The 3024M architecture is based on amorphous silicon (a-Si) design allowing rapid frame rates for advanced mammographic applications.
