March 26, 2008 – UW-Health recently chose the D2 Sales LLC My Patient Passport Express kiosk for its patient check-in program, with the first kiosks deployed at the UW Health West Clinic in Madison, WI as part of a pilot program that began in October 2007.
The kiosks offer a quick and private way to check in for an appointment at one of the 20 participating specialty clinics at West. The My Patient Passport Express kiosk allows patients to check-in, make future appointments and update their medical history all using a simple to navigate touchscreen. Patients can use their credit card to make co-pay payments and sign documents using the integrated electronic signature pad.
The kiosk also provides way finding and map features.
