January 2, 2008 - Unfors Instruments opened up new sales subsidiaries on the big and emerging markets in India and China in Q4 of 2008, according to the company.
In India, the start up of the new subsidiary is being done in close partnership with Rosalina Ltd., a long-term Unforms distributor, and the office location will be in Mumbai.
In China, Shanghai will serve as headquarters.
The company said both markets shows a very high GDP growth and a rapid increased focus on quality assurance measurements within diagnostic X-ray as well as on radiation protection.
In addition to the extensive network of Unfors distributors in the Asia Pacific region, Unfors Instruments operates now three offices under own management in the Asia Pacific region.
