TIMS DICOM System Converts Non-DICOM Images

The TIMS DICOM System, a solution for converting any non-DICOM medical modality to DICOM, will be featured at SIIM 2008. The TIMS DICOM System is designed to convert any modality including fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, CT, MR, motion X-ray, endoscopy, white light microscopy, angiography, ultrasound, speech pathology, and other modalities. The resulting studies can be sent to PACS, recorded to CD/DVD/USB, and printed to any Windows or DICOM printer.

TIMS can record motion video for the entire procedure, up to several minutes, which can be necessary for certain modalities like echocardiography, interventional radiology, speech pathology, cardiac catheterization labs, motion X-ray and endoscopy.

TIMS allows for review and editing of studies before sending to PACS. The system also allows for DICOM query/retrieve, DICOM Modality Work List, stop watch timing of swallow studies, and sending of portions of studies to PACS.
