TeraMedica - Evercore Connects PACS, EHRs

The TeraMedica Evercore clinical enterprise suite of software modules can connect and manage the digital image infrastructure of a healthcare system from the imaging device or picture archiving and communications systems (PACS) to the electronic health record (EHR) and the clinical desktop. Multidepartment, multifacility healthcare providers generate tens of terabytes of data annually. In most cases, this data is fragmented across departmental PACS systems without the IT infrastructure needed to manage the data.

TeraMedica also offers a lightweight EMR viewer in the Evercore Univision module. This browser-based image viewer can be embedded into any electronic medical record (EMR). With one click the physician accesses all images and digital clinical content that affects a patient diagnosis and treatment plan.

It provides easy access to DICOM and non-DICOM data from multiple departments and PACS, the ability to preserve the security attributes and the customized look of your EMR and the opportunity to expose digital clinical content to a wider variety of users.
