Cloud-PACS radiology solutions provider SynthesisHealth, Inc. has signed three new contracts with multisite imaging centers

June 13, 2024 — Cloud-PACS radiology solutions provider SynthesisHealth, Inc. has signed three new contracts with multisite imaging centers. The sites include Tahoe Carson Radiology, an 8-site enterprise served by 9 radiologists in Carson City NV, Naugatuck Valley Radiology, a 3-site facility affiliated with 13 radiologists in Prospect, CT, and Intermountain Medical Imaging, affiliated with a 30-member radiology group (Gemstate Radiology) reading for 7 sites in the Boise Idaho area. Combined, these sites perform over 700,00 studies annually. Two of the sites were former DR Systems and Merative (Merge Healthcare) clients. Each was evaluating replacement systems due to aging hardware and the need for software upgrades. These would both be addressed cost-effectively by Synthesis' Cloud-based solution. Adopting AI would also be addressed by the Cloud much better than trying integrate AI into an older PACS. They all had worked previously with Dr. Murray Reicher, CEO of SynthesisHealth during his days as CEO of DR Systems. Having a trusting relationship with Dr. Reicher and purchasing from a radiologist-led company was critical to each entity. All wanted to move to an AI-enabled, cloud-native PACS with built-in reporting and speech recognition.

"We need a replacement PACS that allows us to service several different entities and locations, including our own facilities.  The SynthesisHealth platform developed and led by Dr. Reicher and Dr. Kauraprovides us with a solution that embraces the very latest technological advancements and will grow with us and our sites both today and into the future." said Wayne K Baldwin CEO of Intermountain Medical Imaging.
