September 24, 2007 - SonoSite Inc. recently reported that its SonoMB, a new ultrasound technology that incorporates an imaging algorithm that reportedly improves contrast resolution and reduces ultrasound artifact, while providing excellent frame rates and image quality for the clinician, is now available on its curved array probes.
The technology has now been integrated into four additional transducers, the C60e, C11e, L38e and SLA models, to provide expanded clinical applicability for abdominal, vascular, musculoskeletal and small parts imaging, as well as for guidance of regional nerve blocks and placement of central lines.
