Siemens Implements Soarian at John D. Archbold Medical Center

Siemens Medical Solutions and John D. Archbold Medical Center have announced an agreement to implement Siemen’s Soarian in effort to give Archbold clinicians the ability to access information enterprise-wide, while improving documentation, avoiding duplication and reducing paperwork and potential errors.
Archbold Medical Center will deploy Soarian’s clinical, financial, scheduling and health information management (HIM) applications as well as Soarian Portal. The contract will also be extended to include Siemens Pharmacy, Med Administration Check , Enterprise Document Management, and the syngo Suite for imaging management.
“Through this implementation, we have the opportunity to evaluate workflow in all areas of our operations and make improvements, gaining productivity to allow us to better serve our patients,” said Bill Sellers, Archbold’s senior vice president, CFO, and executive leader for the Soarian implementation.
